Mock Convention!

4 Nov

One of the greatest traditions at Washington & Lee is our Mock Presidential Convention which we hold every four years to predict who will be the out-of-office parties nominee for the Presidency. It is our largest student organization, with about 95% of the student body getting involved in some capacity. And even though midterms were just this week, we are already gearing up for the next presidential election here on campus I am part of the Steering Committee, which is in charge of putting on the whole spectacle! I will be keeping you all updated with our progress; our events started as early as this week and will continue on all through this next year, up through February 2012! W&L Students Get Involved

28 Sep

Everyone at my house is doing something different tonight! Whether it be volunteering at Campus Kitchen or going to the Mock Con meeting or meeting with their peer counseling group, everyone has some extracurriculars to do. I love how so many students choose to participate in all of the great opportunities the University provides. We like to stay busy!
