Reading Days in Louisville

17 Oct

Reading Days is an absolutely wonderful break in the middle of our October classes. Last Thursday I packed up my schoolwork and drove to Louisville, KY to visit family and stay at one of my roommate’s houses! We went to Huber’s Farm in Indiana, and considering I haven’t frolicked in a pumpkin patch since I was five, it was a total breath of fresh air. Once back at my roommate’s, we carved pumpkins– see my silhouette of Bert from Sesame Street below! (Wasn’t supposed to be a silhouette– just had some issues correctly carving!). Anyway, Reading Days is one of my favorite times of year at W&L– a perfect amount of time to chill, be with loved ones, and have fun, while also catching up on sleep and schoolwork!
